About Yung Gunzman

His talent is very well needed in the music industry today. As he writes his own songs as well as performing them also. 100% original he is, never dropped a mixtape ever but skipping it all together with his new local independent album Da Demo Album (release date coming soon!!) by young teen witch is the same name he’s been going by since age 13.
Focused he is to release every original song and every album from 2002 witch he has written mainly in a prison boot camp facility for under age kids at Lake Cumberland Boot Camp in Kentucky and on to adult jails and prison facilities as time past.

Blake was born in East Gadsden Alabama November 29 1984. At only 1yr and ½ his mother and dad had been in a car accident in Alabama and was reported dead on site. There was a child in the car and was found near by a tree when help arrived, some believed it was Blake in the car at the time.

Blake's farther was married to another woman wile dating Blake's mother and the woman use to ride back and forth wile Blake was playing in the park intentionally wanting to steal Blake from his mother side of the family witch some how did not happen so Blake grew up with his mother side of the family, Brothers, Sister and Cousin.

After being passed thru several aunties and finding stable living with his aunt Dinah Stone he called “mother” and 4 brothers and 1 sister all in 1 house hold on the west end of Louisville Kentucky 44th in parker st. There he went to school at Portland Elementary and Lowe Elementary.

Blake was always asked by family members what he wanted to be when he grew up and his answer stayed the same every time “a writer”. Blake was then writing poetry and always shocking his teachers with amazing work. At age 9 he was taken in by his only sister Tabitha and went to stay with her, her kids and 1 other brother Timothy in Fort Payne Alabama.

There Blake lived a few years moving back in forth from Fort Payne to Gadsden Alabama and was introduced to the drug game watching family members serve crack cocaine and was smoking marijuana at age 11.

Blake was shown how to shoot a gun by his bigger brother at age 10. He lived in the Murderwood Projects in Gadsden at age 12. His sister had this guy friend named Akill and he made music. Akill introduced writing music to Blake at only age 12 and Blake ran with it.

Blake’s older brother Timothy (also the baby brother before Blake) went to prison for murder and a few charges of arm robbery in 1997 and was sentence to life in prison. Blake then was homeless with his family for a few years and Blake and his sister packed up and went back to Louisville, KY and stayed with relatives in Iroquois projects in Louisville. After a few months wondered by then they moved to North Carolina to visit there other brother Billy and stayed a wile. On the South Side of Durham NC in a small house on Fargo st they stayed, Blake, his sister and her three kids stayed in NC for a wile and then moved back to Louisville KY to live in Shepard Square Projects on the Eastside of Louisville.

There Blake met Derrick (expired link) Bobo, witch later on became his sisters’ boyfriend. Derrick, his brother Big Will the CEO, Eric (expired link) streets, lil will and J Bo had a local record label named Criminal Records and was later changed to Rock it Up Records and that was Blake’s 1st real recordings at age 15. Blake was very talented by then and was writing full length songs. Blake was going inside 21 and up clubs at age 15. They were putting on shows all over Louisville.

At age 15 he was arrested for crack cocaine found hidden in his socks and the report of a stolen vehicle in Shepard Square Projects (expired link) Smoke Town that he had rented from a guy to use after giving the car owner drugs for use of the vehicle witch Blake traveled across the Ohio River bridge to Indiana to get possession of the vehicle witch was only a 20 minute drive from Louisville. After having run ins with the law, going to jail was normal for Blake. He started to go jail repeatedly for Stolen Vehicles and Drug charges. 83% of Blake’s music was written in side of some type of jail or correctional institution even until this very day of January 2012.

Blake and his rap group criminal records was robbed out of jewelry and money in Shepard Square Projects on the basement in front of 1 of there boys house witch was another family member of Criminal Records, Brian. Bobo called Streets for the A-P80 military rifle gun we had connections to and I was given the rifle to fire at the guy who robbed us but did not because cops were on to us.

The last time Blake got arrested in Louisville was his last time seeing the streets for a wile. Blake had given the cops a fake identity and a fake age to skip going to juvenile jail and was released several times at an adult facility at age 16. Afterwards they caught on to Blake and he was placed back in the juvenile jail.

There he stayed for 6 months and they sent him off to Lake Cumberland Boot Camp in 2002 long away from home in Kentucky were he created the 1st title to his 1st solo album “Broke But Rich” and the 1st song on it was “story goes” with a white guy named Mike beating on the kitchen tables in the boot camp. Wile at boot camp Blake had a special relationship with a woman worker that made his time easier living inside the facility but they did not get the opportunity to have sexual relations as they wished.

After his release of the boot camp facility, he then was offered to either go to Pine Knot Jobcorp or a foster home in the next county over. Blake choose foster care because it was more freedom that he had seen in a year or so. There he stayed with foster parents Mrs. Charles and Irene in a foster home and was excepted at age 18 to continue is education at McCeary High school and was placed in the 10th grade. Blake dropped out of school at age 15 to hustle on the streets. Blake was very good in doing school work and his Favorite subject was math but when times was hard at home it made schooling very difficult.

There he made friends but was the only African American in the whole city and the whole school. Blake begin receiving a disability check from his deceased parents and had his 1st apartment in the small community in Mc Ceary county. He had cameras on his apartment front and back and his TV camera/monitor was set inside a small closet door.

Blake was treated very well by the white people and the KKK and was invited to their underground parties located in the woods with camp fires and lots of alcohol/moonshine. He also started to listen to music such as "3 doors down" "Head Strong" "Good Charlotte" and so much more and then started to write his own country songs as well.

There Blake was wanting to start on his 1st solo album Broke But Rich in 2003. He found friends that had a studio he could record in but not own his own time so making his album was quiet difficult at the time. Tech 9 was the name of the guy that let Blake come into his home studio with others and sold Blake a sks rifle for protection. Blake worked at the corner gas station with the owner and was very well token in.

Later Blake went homeless and was forced to stay with friends that took him in and afterwards Blake left there and went to a church and they helped Blake find a stable environment in Pine Knot Jobcorp in Pine Knot KY (the next city over). They accepted Blake over night there from the Hotel Blake was put into by the Church.

Blake was now in Jobcop and was still receiving his check but did not want the Jobcorp handling his money witch later became a big problem for Blake. He was taking trips back to his hometown Louisville KY with a $2000 in the pocket. He then stayed at a hotel in Lousiville to visit family and old friends like Bobo

Blake eventually left Jobcorp and went homless once again with only $1200. He stayed a wile with His friends Brock and Terra. He bought his 1st car for $900. It was a Volvo. Later he had to sell the car for a lower price than he bought it for to his friend Mark. Blake then begun to try to get back home to Louisville. By age of 15 Blake aka Young Teen new he had music he had written without any instrumentals had to be heard not only local but World Wide and his music needed much attention. Personally Blake new he was one of the best rap artist/songwriters of the by the year of 2005.

Blake later moved back to North Carolina were he lived with relatives. Again Blake was well connected and started to hustle in the streets once again. He kept a job at Burger King near NCCU and serveral other locations. He was approached to sell drugs for one of his friends he had met to make a much larger amount then Blake was on his own. He ran with it but it did not go so well because Blake did not get the product off as quickly as he needed to so his friend threat his life to kill Blake if he would not pay up plus double of the amount Blake was giving. He later came up with the money and was directed to drop it in the mail box in Heart side community off of Bacon and Lawson st. Blake met some other real dudes he could record with in their studio. Once again Blake was the hottest rapper on his turf. Blake Later moved from urham being homeless to a small town called Chapel Hill UNC college were Michael Jordan went to school. He stayed in a shelter their and maintained 2 jobs "Foodlion" and "Burger King. Blake then met more friends. Blake connected thru the small town of mostly white folks but mixed. Blake had bought three 8balls of soft and him and his friend was hitting every club on Franklin st for sales and it was a success until Blake got caught up stealing a car in Oxford County (a redneck city over form Chapel Hill). Blake had stolen a car from this guy he was riding with and Blake pushed him out the car wile still driving and started to head back to Chapel Hill but diid not make it in time. Wile driving he was coming up on Virginia state line and made a quick U turn and then passed by the same Sheriffs that was looking for him and then took the feds on a high speed chase on the small county road. After riding side by side with the pigs Blake eventually came to stop and had guns pulled on him demanding to see his hands. After spending a few months in the jail Blake was then released. Back to Chapel Hill he went.

Blake made a life to live in the small Tar Heel (expired link) he went to prison for a stolen car once again but Blake did not actually steal the car but he was picked up by a friend and later was stropped in Raleigh, NC by the pigs. Blake had took the blame for the car and was sent to prison with other charges pending and was sent to 8 months (expired link) so he willing to the charge for his so called friend. After going from jail to jail and prison to prison Blake then had his big break being diagnosed with a Bipolar Disorder inside prison. Though it was a big break for him Blake started to space his self from the world with made him a lot strange and weird to be seen. Blake in his mind was held in captive. Not speaking to anyone and not a friend in the world. Blake even spaced his self from some his biggest family member `not knowing he was. Things was not starting to add up with him spaced out from the world. Blake then started to write more about being real without a care or a friend in the world and it was a success only in Blake's mind but even in our minds it''s still a big big success. Everyone loves Blake's music that listen to him no matter what city he was in or what city he mitchen, he's a incredible rap artist and song writer and is able to be like one of the best rappers. Blake Favorite rap artist(s) til this day is still 2pac, Scarface, Dmx, UGK, Do or Die, Outkast, Goodie Mob ((expired link) Bun B) and mostly southern rappers that struggle like he did with no lights on and water shut off.

Still in Chapel Hill, Blake gets his own apartment in the hood on Pritchard st were he stayed for over 2yrs. Blake had it made once again with the biggest sound speakers in the hood at that time and Blake saved to build his 1st owned studio. Him having music writen from 1997 to 2010 the time he moved in and build his studio. Blake again successfully writen, recorded, engineered, mixed, produced and performed his own music on a easy engineer software M-Audio Pro tools Essential. He learned every thing included with pro tools basicly over night and started to record old and new music making it sound like professional ever day hit (expired link) then Blake has created Movies of his life, Clothing, and other bright ideas.

Living at 719 Pritchard at the time, he still had run ins with the police numeral of times over 2yrs. Blake had just got out of Lumberton prision from doing a 8 month bid for a stolen car and now ending back up in prision all over again but only spending to months this time. Wile he was in prision for those 2 months Blake had a child born "his princess" and blake got word will finishing his bid, someone had broke into Blake's apartment and stole studio equipment wile his girl monitored his house wile incarcerated. Once Blake was free the word got out quickly. Blake stayed their months after and then moved out the hood to a bigger apartment 800 Pritchard actually across the street to a all white UNC college student neighborhood.
Blake then again went homeless still determin not to fail. He moved to New York City with out 1 dollar in hand or a phone "GPS" to get around with, trying to get in contact with major record labels and to get a record deal which was (expired link) lost all of his music he had written and parts of his old studio in NYC by leaving ti with a guy he met at a mission place but remembering it mostly he able to rewrite all songs from year 2000 until now of 2013. He stayed their for over 3 weeks. He eventually returned to NC. Trying it all over once again he is now living in Durham, NC were he is getting the studio up an ready again to start recording his 1st Mix-Tape "On My Calculation" (no plan B) which is scheduled to drop in 2014. Over the time Blake has not made it in the industry just yet, his songs have been snatched from him by other Major songwriters and rap artist.
