| Bio of the Artist |
My name is Todd Robinson and i live and breath everything Guitar. I am a Guitar Teacher/session Guitarist and Solo Artist based In the North Coast of NSW areas with a Bachelor of Contemporary Music and Bachelor of Education.
After many years of Teaching private guitar and studying at SCU University learning the skills, techniques and feel needed to cut it as a top musician in Australia and after touring,playing and recording with some of Australia's best artists with my Hard Rock band Tentative (End of Fashion, Karnivool, Pete Murray, Avalon Drive, Another day Down) along with working with Forester Savell (karnivool, The butterfly Effect, Helmet) who produced and mixed the Tentative "Just Quietly" debut EP, I felt i have reached a stage in my musical path to record and release my much awaited debut Solo Instrumental rock album "Ambivalence".
"Ambivalence" will draw on the many influences i have had over the year in shaping my musical career so far and give a taste to the future and what to expect from me as a growing composer and musician.
I am currently Endorsed by Crossley Guitars in Melbourne who i am honored to have built me a P-100TR Todd Robinson signature model guitar which will be available later this year to the public .
I am also endorsed by Knucklehead guitar strings and Dunlop Picks.
As for now i am currently recording the album which will be looking at a September release 2008
