Multi-instrumentalist and singer from Senegal, NDIOBA doesn't just play bass with an infectious groove (NDIOBASS). He also has a knack for melody and a beautiful voice.

Emba NDIOBASS

Since the 80s and over the years, NDIOBA has played bass for a wide number of artists and bands, both in his native Senegal and Northern Europe.

In the beginning of the 90s, top Finnish guitrist HASSE WALLI hired him. With his ASAAMAN Band they produced two albums and toured extensively Europe and West Africa. Two songs written by NDIOBA for ASAMAAN got onto the Finnish and European charts.

Among other collaborations, one can note: SAKARI KUKKO, AIKAKONE; SAMI SAARI; AKI SIRKESALO; TINO SINGH, GALAXY;, STILIMBA, JASON CARTER, ZERO DRAMA, FRENCH KISS (Finland); GUGLIELMO PAGNOZZI, BADARA SECK (Italy); and in a near future DIOGAL (France).

NDIOBA & TOPOTO

NDIOBA is actually recording material for his solo project, both in Finland and Senegal, while keeping busy as session musician for other artists and touring occasionally with his TOPOTO BAND.

NDIOBA's songs are both in Wolof and English, but you can also hear some French and Finnish.

A mini-album will come out this year, soon followed by NDIOBA's debut album in 2008.
