LouderThanLove is a rock power trio hailing from Omaha, NE. The group was formed in August 2005, and is comprised of three veterans of the Omaha music scene.
Singer/Guitarist Shawn Hicks was born in Marietta, GA during the social upheaval of the mid 1960's, and was heavily influenced by music of the times. He has been a musician since an early age, starting as a choral singer, and learning Trumpet & Piano before switching to guitar at the age of 15. His voice being his only other instrument, he has polished his unique rock & blues vocal stylings, and his signature guitar sound over the last few decades.
Jeff Bliven provides the all important "bottom end"on Bass Guitar, and is an Omaha, NE native. Jeff originally played drums, but switched to bass to further his rhythmic capabilities. He has been mastering the Bass for well over two decades.
Keith Bliven is the drummer and percussionist of the band, and was born also in Omaha. He has rocked the kit for over three decades. Tasteful accents, and a monster kick drum make a perfect compliment to the music.
Sonic live performances have grown their fan base, and have helped spread the word about the bands music beyond the Midwest region. Getting spins on local music radio programs and internet radio has exposed them to a whole new audience as well, connecting with fans everywhere through radio & internet.
