What started out as filling a need for talent in a pageant when she was young has turned into a career goal for Lindsey Danielle Anderson of Shelbyville, Indiana. Her first public performance was actually at a gymnastics recital where her mother was coaching. Since then she has performed at a variety of fairs, festivals, pageants and other special events.
Born February 8, 1989, to Kem and Jan Anderson, Lindsey has always had a passion for singing. Her musical influences include Shania Twain, Lonestar and Leann Rimes. She even met Lonestar when she was about 8. She even got to help carry their guitars on stage.
Lindsey grew up listening to mostly pop music but realized she related better to country music. Makes sense, since this is what she performs when she gets the opportunity. She even recorded an album - Stepping Stone to Nashville - a collection of some of her favorite country songs - with the help of her voice teacher. She recently recorded three originals by talented songwriters and hopes to record a full-length album in the near future. |
