GUNS ON THE ROOF – the next generation.
Imagine Motorhead, GBH, The Business meets Greenday, Rancid, Distillers. This is exactly what you get from teenage punksters Guns on the Roof. The Leeds band has an average age of only eighteen and released their debut album ‘ Pure Punk Rock Therapy ’ in late 2005. The band impressed the promoters so much at last years Wasted warm up festival they put them on the main stage at Wasted Amsterdam and a spot on this years Wasted in Blackpool in August. The promoters of the Speed freaks ball heard the album and immediately created a spot for them at the Great Yarmouth festival last November. Over the past twelve months they have supported established bands such as Stiff Little Fingers, The Anti Nowhere League, The Misfits, Spunge, U.K. Subs, Slaughter and the Dogs, The Briggs, The Meteors, The Dead Pets, Deadline, Holy Racket, to name but a few. The bands passion and excitement coupled with their youthful energy has won them an increasing fan base wherever they play. This is the next generation of U.K. punk. They are Guns on the Roof. |
