"2nd Look", a dynamic duo a.k.a. Mike and Cross. These young men are known to woe their female audiences with their multi-octave vocal levels. In addition, because they are songwriters and arrangers, they have taken the sound of the past and integrated it with the sound of the present thus producing a unique sound, they call "Sultry R&B". This sound has the ability to touch the hearts and souls of all whom are looking to connect with music they can relate to.
"2nd Look" is working to create a solid support base consisting of fans and music professionals around the world. Read on, take a look and you'll get hooked too. When performing, this dynamic duo creates a nostalgic atmosphere, which allows you to go back into time when some were at the peak of their "love jones". Before becoming "2nd Look", Mike and Cross gained their musical experience while singing in other groups. Cross started in the mid-80's singing in various groups. In the mid 90's he branched out as a solo R&B artist. Mike also started his music career in the mid-80's he started out as a solo artist. Later in the 90's Mike joined a R&B trio who coincidentally signed under the same management, which Cross was signed. In 1998, after the breakup of Mike's group, Mike and Cross decided to form the R&B group you now know as "2nd Look".
Since joining together these two young men have had busy schedules. They have written, arranged and produced over 100 songs. Mike and Cross have opened shows for such performers as: Blue Magic, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, Rough Ends, The Intruders, and Colonel Abraham. They also performed and received a recognition award at The Walter Reid Medical Center for wounded soldiers. On occasions they've performed for fundraisers and charity events relating to such issues as child health care and homelessness. 2nd Look has been interviewed on college radio stations such as CW Post College and Meager Evers College. This dynamic duo has performed on the following public access cable shows: The Mothership Connection, Lenny Matthew's, and Around the Neighborhood cable shows.
"2nd Look" is currently creating relationships with DJs and distributors overseas who are introducing and helping them to build a larger U.K. fan base. They are also in the process of signing a contract with an Independent record label.
